Oleg Ivanovich has been working at the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies (ONAPT) since 1983. In 1997, he successfully defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences on the topic “Scientific bases and practice of functioning of dust removal systems in grain processing industries” after which he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences and the academic title of Professor of the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies.
The main direction of scientific activity Gaponyuk A.I. is the technical support of the grain storage and processing industry.
Film Under the leadership of AI Gaponyuk for the first time in Ukraine developed: equipment equipped with software SMART-Individual; fundamentally new highly efficient transport and technological complexes of energy-saving, technical support for post-harvest grain processing – a drying and cleaning module with a storage capacity of up to 12 thousand tons, an automated elevator; sea grain terminal wagon-load to 4,500,000 tons; new high-performance equipment: belt conveyors, bucket elevators, chain conveyors, modular hopper scales, high-performance complexes: for receiving grain from railway wagons, for unloading grain from road transport, peeling machines, separators for preliminary grain cleaning, cereals, grains, environmental safety systems and local filtering installation.
Gaponyuk A.I. is a member of the editorial boards and the collegium of scientific journals: “Grain products and compound feed”, “Bakery and confectionery industry of Ukraine”, scientific papers ONAFT.
Professor Gaponyuk A.I. the scientific school “Theory and technology of the processes of primary processing of food raw materials and drying of plant raw materials and food products” was created and operates.
Film Under the leadership of AI Gaponyuk prepared and successfully defended eight candidate and one doctoral dissertations.
Gaponyuk A.I. published more than 220 scientific and educational works, including 2 textbooks – “Active ventilation and drying of grain” and “Technological equipment for bakery, pasta and confectionery industries, 55 patents for inventions and useful models. Two normative documents have been developed and published on the design of dust removal systems for grain processing industries: “Rules for the design of aspiration plants for grain storage and processing enterprises” (Ministry of Silgospprod of Ukraine, 1995), “Rules for the design and adjustment of aspiration and pneumatic conveying plants for grain storage and processing enterprises. “(Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine, 2014.). Scientific articles have been published in publications of Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Moldova, etc. The results of research and development are presented at international symposia and conferences.
Scientific work and scientific-pedagogical activity Gaponyuk AI awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Chairman of the Board of SJSC “Khlib Ukrainy” for many years of conscientious work in the region (2001), the Badge of Honor of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine (2002), the badge “For scientific achievements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2007). .), badge “Excellence in Education” (2007), distinction of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Certificate of Merit of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine V.G. Flint for active participation in the preparation for the final collegium of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
